Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Marshfield, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,488 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Marshfield, Wisconsin, 54449! Job Title: Med Surg/Tele RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year(s) License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience Description: Unit has 29 beds. Nurse-Patient Ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6. Common diagnoses and types of patients include: Ortho Trauma (fractures, joint replacements), vascular procedures (fem-pop bypass, carotid endarterectomy), heparin drips, wound dressing changes, urology (TURP, TURBT, continuous bladder irrigation), neuro-spine (laminectomy, fusion, back pain), OBGYN oncology (TAH/OBS), and acute medical cases. RN's are required to titrate drips following a prescribed nomogram. Common titratable and set rate drips include heparin, nitroglycerin, bivalirudin, cardizem, and insulin. Telemetry techs monitor the unit 24/7; RN's do not need to read strips. Charge nurse takes an assignment on all shifts, with a house supervisor present. Nursing assistants are on the unit with various ratios throughout the day and night. RT support is available for CPAP, BIPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy; no vents present. No self-scheduling; block scheduling is done to the best of ability based on staffing. Weekend and holiday requirements are every other weekend and holiday. Floating to other adult medical/surgical nursing units is required. Scrubs in any color, clean and professional attire are acceptable.
