qualified Emergency Medicine NP in Durand, Wisconsin, 54736! We are
seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day locum
tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This opportunity begins on Jan 11,
2026, and features 24-hour solo coverage in a rural hospital
setting, with shifts running noon to noon and a combination of
on-site and on-call responsibilities. Job Details Location:
Wisconsin Start Date: Jan 11, 2026 LOA: 7 days Provider Type
Needed: Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule: 24-hour
shifts (noon to noon); typically 12-15 hours on-site with overnight
call; minimal nightly callbacks Responsibilities and Duties Provide
solo coverage for the emergency department and inpatient floor
Perform procedures including cardioversion, central line placement,
chest tube placement, EKG, fracture stabilization, hematoma blocks,
I&D, IO lines, intubation, laceration repair, local anesthetic,
rapid sequence intubation, and ventilator management Admit patients
and conduct rounding Manage acute and emergent cases as needed
Participate in handoff procedures at end of assignment (between
12pm-3pm) Utilize nearby or on-site sleeping amenities during
overnight call hours Additional Information Board certification in
Emergency Medicine required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification required Must have experience in Emergency Medicine
or Family Medicine with emergency experience Must be licensed to
practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Wisconsin Benefits Strong
