Position includes caring for a young teen girl!Benefits: You will be working for a family that is very appreciative of what you do! You would be helping a family live their best life!Things She Enjoys: Arts & Crafts Creative Writing Playing videogames (limit screen time) Fantasy and Dragons Hours/Desired Schedule: Up to 12 hours a month – afternoon preferred Respite to be in members home or in the community RESPITE SCHEDULE TBD BETWEEN FAMILY & PROVIDER Pay: $16.80 per hour (before taxes)Key Responsibilities: Foster an open and communicative relationship to build trust and help her feel comfortable. Help her stay busy and engaged with activities. Assist with meal preparation, while encouraging her to become more independent in the kitchen. Foster life skills related to cooking, responsibility, and personal growth. Ideal Candidate: A kind, patient, and understanding individual who can offer structure while encouraging independence. Someone who enjoys arts and crafts, and creative writing Open to regular communication with the family and adaptable to a changing schedule.
