your future. Responsibilities The Department of Radiology at Mayo
Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified
postdoctoral Research Fellow for the CT Clinical Innovation Center,
a worldwide leader in the field of medical CT imaging. Using
state-of-the-art clinical and pre-clinical CT systems, our highly
productive team conducts pioneering investigations across a broad
scope of CT-related topics. Our core focus areas include
photon-counting-detector (PCD) CT, artificial intelligence (AI),
and other transformative technologies, with a strong emphasis on
translating these innovations into clinical practice to improve
patient care worldwide. Applicants for this position must hold a
Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics, Computer Science, Electrical and
Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in medical imaging
physics, demonstrated programming skills, and a proven track record
of peer-reviewed research publications. Excellent written and
verbal communication skills in English are essential. The
successful candidate will primarily contribute to NIH funded
projects related to virtual imaging trials for multi-energy CT and
AI-based algorithm development. In addition, they will have the
opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of
radiologists, medical physicists, and AI scientists on a variety of
cutting-edge research projects. The Research Fellow will also have
the chance to explore various aspects of medical physics, further
enhancing their experience and preparing them for a successful
career in academia, industry, or clinical medical physics.
Qualifications Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral
degree in a field deemed relevant by the program.
