Job DescriptionSalary: 19.00 Hourly Summary and Purpose:The LTL Freight Handler is responsible for the timely and accurate loading and unloading of semi-trailers at an assigned Magnum LTL location. Essential Job Functions:

• Unload freight from incoming semi-trailers at dock on receiving side of warehouse
• Reload manifest, match product in trucks to specified delivery products and locations
• Inspect freight for damage
• Enter necessary data into computer
• Reload freight into appropriate trailer at loading dock for driver to deliver utilizing propane powered and/or sit down style forklifts and hand loading
• Maintain clean environment, including removing broken pallets, sweeping inside of trailers, etc.
• Assist with projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Ability to fluently read, speak, and write English to complete necessary paperwork and communicate with supervisors and co-workers.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics:
  • Previous forklift experience required
  • Knowledge of general warehouse processes and procedures
  • High level of interpersonal skills to be able to contribute to team environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess skills to problem solve, verify, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment
