What this role is all about :
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician I to join our 1st
shift team in La Crosse, WI.
The Quality Assurance Technician I supports Agropur's commitment to
food safety & quality by monitoring and verifying production
parameters in accordance with Quality programs. The Quality
Assurance Technician I is responsible for ensuring organization
standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed to
preserve integrity of the products while providing feedback for
continuous improvements for the Quality System.
Enforce all aspects of the plant's quality functions in compliance
with plant and corporate level standard operating procedures
(SOPs), good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and company safety
policies.
Approve all finished batches and verifies they are prepared using
the correct ingredient quantities according to the manufacturing
record.
Review and Approve all labels used in production.
Verify and correct any changes made to production paperwork,
components, documentation, and labels used for the production
lines.
Conduct start-up inspections and hourly checks on production
lines.
Approve production lines for operation and individual parts for use
based on equipment examination and surface sampling.
Perform various laboratory testing including in-line sensory,
in-line titratable acidity, in-line pH, flow agent evaluation, ATP
swabbing, equipment sponge swabbing, and in-line production
sampling.
The Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and FDA required.
The Extras (Preferred Qualifications):
Associate's Degree in Science field preferred.
Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and sampling requirements
preferred.
Minimum one (1) year production/manufacturing experience
preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be
considered.

quality contract manufacturing services.
