Advanced Fiber Products is growing its 3rd Shift. Our current employees are growing with the company and we need additional help! Hours are Monday-Thursday 10:00pm-7:00am. You work 36 hours and get paid for 40! Full benefits package including PTO, VAC, 401(k) Profit sharing, 2 raises in the first year and the possiblity of 3 bonus checks!!

Title of Position: Resin Mixer
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Handling of Resins, Pigments, Fillers, Catalysts, Styrene, and Acetone
  
• Mix resins according to mix sheet formulation for each product
  
• Determining the amount of resin needed for each production run
  
• Utilizing extra resin from a production run in other products
  
• Dispensing of resin to the Pultrusion machines as needed
  
• Unloading and storage of materials used in the mixing of resin formulas
  
• Monitor and report inventory of materials used for mixing
  
• Filling out the appropriate paperwork for resin mix certification for customer requirements
  
• Maintaining the appropriate documentation required for handling waste Acetone
  
• Properly disposing of used materials
  
• Handling and storage of returned and reusable materials
  
• Weighing and disposing of lost resin
  
• Driving of the straight truck to dispose of materials and pickup materials
  
• Assist in relieving other personnel in the area for scheduled breaks
  
• Follow rules and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook
  
• Perform general housekeeping duties
  
• Perform other duties as requested by the Shift Leader of other Management personnel

  • STRONG mathematical skills
    
  • Sound ability for mental math
    
  • Ability to read and understand resin formulations
    
  • Ability to read and understand production order requirements
    
  • Good organizational and planning skills
    
  • Frequent lifting of 2-50 lbs.
    
  • Frequent bending and pushing of resin barrels
    
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as earplugs, safety glasses, and rubber gloves
    
  • Must be able to comply with the rules and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook
