Starting Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour-- -
Schedules:-- -Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM, Mon-Fri 3PM-11PM, OR-- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -Sun-Thurs 11PM-7AM

Pre-Press Operator Job Summary
The Pre-Press Operator prepares screens for the screening department. This position follows the screen through several phases such as reclaiming, degreasing, coating, shooting, development, and inspection. Inspects repeat film positives to ensure good quality films.

Pre-Press Operator-- - Duties & Responsibilities:
-- - Reclaims and inspects screens to determine if re-usableDegreases new and used screens in preparation for coatingBreaks down and prepares screens for stretching. Stretches screensSelects appropriate program on coating machine to coat screensApplies film to coated screen and places in exposure equipment or places a coated screen in the digital image setterDevelops exposed screensInspects screens for defects such as pin holes and blocks them out We are excited about you if you have: Ability to work proficiently with computersAbility to read and comprehend job orders that provide specific details and instructionsAbility to work independently without continued support from othersAbility to multi-taskAbility to write legiblyAbility to read upside down Physical Demands of the Set Up Assistant role: Ability to continuously stand or walk, occasionally sit.Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. to shoulder height, up to 20 lbs. above shoulders, and team lift up to 80 lbs.Ability to occasionally push or pull up to 100 lbs.Ability to climb ladders or stairs as needed.Ability to occasionally climb on to equipment.Ability to frequently perform repetitive motions.Ability to crawl as needed.Ability to continuously stoop, bend, kneel, squat, twist, or pinch/grasp.Ability to continuously reach overhead, in front of body, or below waist.Ability to have simultaneous use of hand, wrist, and fingers.Requires 20/20 corrected vision.Requires color vision acuity. Work Environment: Continuous exposure to moderate-loud noise, chemicals, fumes and moving objects.Occasional exposure to heat.May work at varying heights.Rare exposure to outside weather conditions, the risk of chemical shock, slippery surfaces, extreme heat, or sudden temperature changes.Requires the use of personal protective equipment.
