work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities:
- User Provisioning
- Process new hire (onboarding) kits and terminations
(offboarding) kits
- Receive in all inbound items into Tech Support's Inventory
System
- Make modifications as needed. - Distribute and export reports
as necessary
- Escalation Management
- Act as POC for IT Asset team with external vendors,
supervisors, and transportation carrier
- Training and Documentation
- Train all new IT Asset Specialists on all processes and
procedures of the team
- QA the work of all IT Asset Specialists during onboarding
phase
- Create and manage SOPs
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory of computer assets and
peripherals at the warehouse location and as they are transferred
to storage facilities and office locations
- Responsible for all outbound tracking for IT equipment related
to remote employees or remote sites -
- Daily tracking of shipment status for equipment sent for new
hires
- Report problematic statuses (not delivered, delivery
exceptions) as necessary to ensure delivery
- Work with FedEx and Distribution Center personnel as needed for
escalation
- Follow-up Remote Terminations
- Email leadership, employees, Human Capital, Info Security as
needed regarding equipment not returned as expected
- Service Desk Ticket Completion
- Work assigned tickets to meet turnaround time expectations.
Record appropriate details regarding issue and resolution.
- Maintain IT supplies and supply requests and ship out remote
supplies
- Work with hardware inventory system, other technicians, and IT
procurement to maintain stock level of peripheral devices needed
for successful provisioning.
- Assist with batch shipments for remote users
- Assemble peripheral kits (mouse, keyboard, monitors, proper
cabling)
- FedEx label creation, inventory updating
- Assist Event Technicians as needed with Event computer asset
management
- Computer data imaging and uploading
- Inventory management assistance
- IT Asset Disposal
- Process disposals for IT Operations departments to properly
dispose of non-functioning or aged items
- POC with UnitedHealth Group and IT Security for disposal
process
- Assist IT Security in the disposal/shred of data bearing
devices following UHG security procedures
- Specialty runs
- Work with shipping department to move assets from one building
to another as needed or special assistance requests What are the

- High School Diploma /GED
- 1+ years of experience in inventory management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
- Ability to adhere to procedures and maintain accurate detailed
records
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to bend, reach, twist, package, and transport
(shift/roll/push/pull) multi-sized packages that range from 10 -
35lbs frequently and 50+lbs occasionally to rarely with
assistance
- Ability to work while standing for extended periods of
time
- Capable of lifting up to 35lbs frequently (34-66% of the
time)
- United States Citizenship -
- Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following the
submission of Defense Health Agency -eQuip -Form SF86
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this
