Strategy & Communications Specialist role supports key IT strategic
priorities through all stages to ensure deliverables are met on
time. In addition, works closely with senior members of OptumServe
IT team to implement communication plans around our strategic
priorities. -You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from La
Crosse, WI or anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough
challenges. -Primary Responsibilities:
- Support senior IT leaders in formulating, executing and
communicating strategic priorities
- Comfortable leading or co-leading workshops to define outcomes
and breakdown work to align to strategic priorities
- Developing and executing communications at multiple levels
within IT
- Create and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to
inform and promote the strategic roadmap
- Collaborate with senior IT leaders to help define general
communications needs and preferences to create sharable
content
- Able to understand value based impacts on the work IT is
completing to determine priority and level of awareness
required
- Ensure that all dependencies, deliverables, and success
criteria for strategic priorities are identified and managed
appropriately
- Identify potential risks/issues, recommend, communicate and
implement risk management plans in support of senior leadership
direction
- Driving strategic priorities to completion by working the
matrix teams within IT
- Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with
applicable stakeholders

in.Required Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's Degree in Software, Business, or related discipline
with an emphasis in Project Management and/or Communications.
Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable
military experience
- 2+ years of experience working in an agile or scaled agile
development environment
- 1+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Programs, mainly Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint -Preferred Qualifications:
- National Career Readiness Certificate
- Portfolio of work available for review -
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, including strong
presentation skills
- Strategic and creative mindset
- Solid time-management skills and sound judgment
- Good organization skills and the ability to balance projects of
varying complexity simultaneously
- Ability to facilitate and negotiate consensus around strategic
goals
- Meticulous attention to detail
