reports.Job Description:Serves as Human Resources (HR) liaison with
an operating team. Responsible for leading HR processes and
programs such as performance management, compensation, recruitment,
retention, employee relations, workforce planning, and employee
development and training. Assists management in planning,
implementing, and evaluating HR initiatives.Major
Responsibilities:1. Partner with Administrative Directors/Directors
in the development of workforce plans. Provide consulting and
support with respect to organizational and/or department
recruitment and retention strategies. Design/develop short and long
term recruitment/retention strategies for areas with critical
positions.2. Assess and recommend management and employee
development, training and change efforts in partnership with
Corporate Learning & Development. Identify areas for diagnostic
interventions and work with Corporate Learning & Development to
design and implement an appropriate strategy. Assist with workforce
and succession planning, including budget implications.3. Work with
line and staff management to provide policy interpretation related
to complex employee relations issues. Makes recommendations and
decisions with respect to employment decisions such as hiring,
discipline, and/or termination of employment.4. Facilitate and
evaluate performance management and compensation processes for
client groups5. Serves as an HR liaison for employees of the
operating team/division for which they serve.6. May provide
leadership and/or supervision for Human Resource assistive
personnel.Education and Learning:REQUIREDBachelor's degree in a
related fieldDESIREDMaster's degree in Administration or Business
Administration (MBA)Work Experience:REQUIRED5-7 years of generalist
experience in Human Resources, including 1-2 years of in depth
specialty knowledge.DESIRED1 year of prior HR experience in a
health care or service industry setting. Health care management
experience can be substituted for HR experience.Age Specific
