Snow's Family Market in Mercer WI is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Deli Assistant! Benefits Include: Incentive Bonus ($300) on successful completion of probationary period (90 days) and meeting performance goals Premium pay on Sundays (extra $2.00hr) Holiday pay (extra $2.00hr) Earn 5 PTO days within the first year of employment (New Years Day, Memorial Day,4th of July, Labor Day & Thanksgiving) 1 weeks paid vacation (after one year of continued full-time employment) Supplemental Benefit plan options Key Responsibilities: Prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food Preparing and cooking rotisserie chickens Assist customers in selecting deli products, slicing lunch meats & cheeses and provide recommendations Stocking and refilling depleted inventory, rotating product as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Cleaning/sanitizing prep areas following all safety and sanitation procedures Follow food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints If you have a positive attitude, great interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you! Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is a plus, but not required. Qualifications: Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Serve Safe Certificate a plus but not required Collaborate with team members to deliver the best possible customer experience and contribute to the overall success of Snow's Family Market.
