independent and collaborative research to investigate mechanisms of
liver injury, inflammation, and vascular dysfunction in MASH. •
Design and execute experiments using in vitro and in vivo models of
lipotoxic liver disease. • Perform advanced molecular and cellular
biology techniques, including but not limited to plasmid cloning,
gene expression analysis, protein assays, and cell signaling
studies. • Isolate and characterize primary liver cells, including
intrahepatic leukocytes, hepatocytes and liver sinusoidal
endothelial cells. • Manage and perform rodent handling and
interventions, including diet-induced MASH models and genetic or
pharmacologic manipulations. • Apply flow cytometry,
immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence techniques to assess
cell populations and pathological changes. • Perform basic
bioinformatic analysis (e.g., RNA-seq) and interpret complex
datasets. • Participate in manuscript preparation, presentations,
and grant writing. What You Will Gain • Training in cutting-edge
methodologies relevant to liver disease and immunometabolism. •
Collaborative environment at a leading academic medical research
center. • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact publications and
translational research advancing therapeutic strategies for MASH.

Immunology, Vascular Biology, or related biomedical discipline. •
Demonstrated expertise in liver pathobiology and basic molecular
and mechanistic techniques. • Hands-on experience with animal
handling, including approval and conduct of rodent studies. •
Proven ability with plasmid cloning, gene manipulation, and cell
isolation procedures. • Competence in basic bioinformatic data
analysis(e.g., differential gene expression, pathway analysis). •
Solid background in immunology, particularly as related to
inflammation and cellular crosstalk. • Familiarity with vascular
biology or endothelial cell function in organ pathology is highly
desirable. Preferred Skills • Use of omics approaches to understand
tissue zonation and cell interactions. • Experience in studying
intercellular signaling. • Strong written and oral communication
skills suitable for presentations and publications.
