Summary: Ref : M-RN-294455 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: OB/L&D Job Type: Contract/Travel Start Date: ASAP Location: Viroqua, WI Shift Schedule: 7p-7a Shift Type: Nights Rate: $2,308/36-hours Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact, as applicable) Minimum of 1 year recent OB/L&D nursing experience (preferred) BLS required ACLS, NRP, and/or AWHONN certifications preferred (or required per facility) Responsibilities: Assess, monitor, and document maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery Provide nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum phases Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered Operate and monitor fetal heart rate monitoring systems Educate patients and families on labor progression, pain management options, and postpartum care Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and complications Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines About Adelphi Medical Staffing Adelphi Medical Staffing is a national recruitment firm that specializes in sourcing travel nurses, and non-clinical professionals for healthcare facilities.
