Job Description:
The Mayo Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Residential Technician to join our dedicated team. This position is
pivotal in providing top-notch direct care and support to patients
in our residential facilities, following Mayo Clinic's mission of
delivering expert, integrated clinical practice, education, and
research. The ideal candidate will be important in enhancing
patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of comfort and
care in a therapeutic and healing environment. Provide direct care
to patients in residential settings including daily living
assistance, monitoring, and health management. Assist in the
implementation of patient treatment plans as directed by medical
professionals. Monitor patients' health status and report any
significant changes to the supervising nurse or doctor. Ensure a
clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients. Facilitate
activities and social interactions according to the therapeutic
guidelines. Support patients with rehabilitative and therapeutic
practices as instructed. Document care and any incidents to
maintain transparent and effective communication. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed
instructions Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards
Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously Compassion
and patience in dealing with patients Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance CPR and Basic Life Support
certifications required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
accreditation beneficial but not mandatory
