Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel *Certifications Required: BLS, NIHSS* Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour. - Beds: 28 - Nurse: Patient Ratios: Average 1:-5 Day/Pm, 1:5-7 NOCs (average 6, must be ok with 7 patients). - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Up to 75% of patients can be cardiac: cardiology: pre/post caths, pre CABG, Chest pain, NSTEMIs, no Post CABG but do get anything procedural cardiac. General: CHF,COPD, pneum, diabetes, dialysis, altered mental status, nephrology, hematology, wounds, etc. overflow strokes. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Good communication, good teamwork, good work ethic. Must have majority of cardiac experience (heavy cardiac unit). Must have 1 year of Tele, IMC/ Stepdown RN. Must have drip experience.
