Interventional Radiology Location: Marshfield, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,526 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology/Vascular Technology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years of IR experience Specific experience depending on utilization Description: Prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety setup. Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Pull supplies and set up sterile tables. Scrub in and assist physicians with procedures. Perform device exchange, guidewire manipulation, and catheter placement. Manage radiation dose and imaging angles. Clean, restock, and turnover procedure rooms. Perform sheath removals. Common diagnoses/types of patients encountered include: Port placements, liver biopsies, IVC placements, G-tube placements, PICC and central line placements. Neuro procedures such as coiling, thrombectomy, and embolizations. Vascular procedures including fem-fem bypasses, AAA repairs, carotid interventions, EVAR, and angiograms. Support team includes one registered nurse and three technologists. Scheduling and staffing managed by two team leads. Daily staffing includes various combinations of registered nurses and technologists across multiple labs. Shift rotation may include weekends and holidays. Call requirements include responding within 30 minutes for weeknight and weekend rotations. Floating requirements for hybrid vascular cases may apply. Scrubs will be provided, with the option to wear personal scrub caps. Unit-specific orientation typically includes training and shadowing.
