Cath Lab Tech Location: Marshfield, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,830 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Day/Night Rotate Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Must-Have: 2 years of interventional radiology (IR) experience. Specific experience dependent on the utilization of the individual. Description: The Cath Lab Technologist will prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety setup. They will calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamics monitoring equipment. The technologist will pull supplies and set up the sterile table. They will scrub in and assist physicians with procedures including device exchange, guidewire manipulation, and catheter placement. The technologist will also assist with balloon and stent deployment, manage radiation dose and imaging angles, and perform sheath removals. Daily staffing typically includes 1 RN and 3 Techs in the Cath Lab. The Cath Lab handles an average of 20 cases per day across 7 rooms, including 4 Cath Lab and electrophysiology (EP) rooms. The common procedures include left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), structural procedures, and more. The team supports STEMI cases with a call response time of 30 minutes. Weeknight and weekend call rotation is required, approximately once every 3 weekdays and once every 3 weekends. May be required to participate in holiday call rotation. Provided scrubs are available, and individuals may wear their own scrub caps.
