Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/22/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level II trauma acute care setting with Cerner charting and rotating call responsibilities. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a 16-suite Operating Room within an acute care hospital - Level II trauma setting with an average of 28 cases per day - Patient cases include general, GYN, urology, peripheral vascular, bariatric, orthopedic (including total joints and trauma), neuro, ENT, oral, plastics, c-sections, and laparoscopic procedures - No scrubbing required for RN staff; circulating duties only - Primarily day shifts with 4x10-hour (0700-1730) or 5x8-hour (0700-1530) schedules available - One week of PM shifts (5x8 hr, 1500-2330, Mon-Fri) every four weeks - Night shift opportunities possible with prior facility experience - Call duty required 1-2 nights per week and one weekend approximately every 5-6 weeks - Minimum call response time is 30-45 minutes depending on team assignment - Holiday coverage required for at least 1 holiday per year - Floating to Outpatient Surgery Center across campus as needed - Cerner EMR used with transition to Epic planned - Work alongside a dedicated OR team including charge nurse and surgical technologists - Scrub uniforms provided at no cost (navy blue via Cintas vending) - Department-specific orientation provided: 2-3 days with educator, CBTs, and 1-2 weeks for case familiarization - All staff are required to clock in and out at the facility - First-time travelers are considered for this position /n /n Requirements/n - Active WI or compact RN license required by start date - Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required - Minimum 1 year of operating room RN experience - Ability to circulate for a wide variety of cases as listed - Candidates with address within 80 miles considered local and subject to different rate - Must provide two professional references including one supervisor reference and one peer or supervisor reference - Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months with approval for return /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-643147.
