TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified EP Lab RN in Marshfield, Wisconsin, 54449! Pay Information $3,006 per week About The Position Job Title: EP RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 0630-1630, or when cases are done for the day Experience: Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience, specific experience based on utilization. License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: IABP experience Description: Department consists of 7 total suites/labs (4 Cath Lab/EP & 3 IR). On average, there are 20 cases per day across all rooms. Common diagnoses include ablations for A.Fib, A.Flutter, SVT, VT, and more. Procedures include EP studies with programmed stimulation, pacemaker placements, and loop recorder implants. Job duties include verifying orders and consent, conducting head-to-toe assessments, and providing patient education. Responsibilities also include consenting verification, room setup, circulating cases, and administering moderate sedation. Continuous monitoring of hemodynamics and documentation are key components of the role. Coordination with the team is essential throughout the procedures. A team typically consists of 1 RN and 3 Techs in the Cath Lab, with varying team sizes in EP. Participation in a weeknight and weekend call rotation is required, averaging once every 3 weekdays. Weekend call responsibilities involve a rotation approximately every 3 weekends. May be asked to participate in holiday call duties. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Scrub color and dress code will be provided; own scrub caps are permitted. Unit-specific orientation typically lasts 2-3 full days of training/shadowing, followed by buddy call.
