Surgical Technologist - GI Tech Join our team as a skilled Surgical Technologist - GI Tech , where you will assist in gastrointestinal procedures and surgeries. In this role, you will ensure the operating room is prepared and provide critical support to surgeons during endoscopic and other GI-related procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms for gastrointestinal procedures by sterilizing equipment and arranging supplies. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, handling specimens, and maintaining a sterile environment. Position patients for GI surgeries and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure. Monitor equipment functionality during procedures and troubleshoot issues promptly. Document procedure details and maintain compliance with hospital safety protocols. Work Environment: The role is based in hospitals or outpatient surgical centers specializing in gastrointestinal procedures. This position requires attention to detail and physical stamina to assist in long surgeries or procedures.
