TRABAJOThe Safety and Compliance Coordinator works in partnership
with the plant leadership team to educate, train, and instill an
employee owned safety culture rooted in knowledge, involvement, and
commitment to an injury free workplace in compliance with company
and government standards.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESRESPONSABILIDADES
LABORALESWork closely with trainers to educate and engage employees
on the importance of owning safety at work and at home. To achieve
the goal of instilling an employee-owned safety culture from new
hire orientation; through training, protective personal equipment
(PPE), safe job instructions and SOP's, life critical standards,
hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness,Provide technical,
administrative, leadership and hands-on support for employee led
teams in building employee awareness, engagement, and ownership of
work and home safety.Investigate First Report of Injury reports and
engage all resources necessary to eliminate workers' compensation
claims. Use data and analysis to determine root cause of
accidents.Front line leader in employee engagement and ownership of
employees in Health and Safety.Conduct periodic facility risk
assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.Works
closely with internal and external resources to establish a safety
baseline within the ADM life critical standards.Catches people
doing safety right and provides positive reinforcement.Immediately
addresses any suspicious activity related to employee
safety.Identifies and focuses the resources needed to ensure a safe
work environment.JOB DUTIESDEBERES DE TRABAJOEnsures that employee
training, policy, SOP's, and forms, and are understood and
applied.Ensures completion of required OSHA recordkeeping and
reporting.Stop operations and activities that could harm employees
or equipment.Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace
injuries, accidents, and health problems.Conducts employee training
on practical application of safety programs.Maintain Safety Data
Sheets (SDS) for all facilities in a manner that is accessible to
all employees.Lead accident investigation efforts by engaging
leaders and employees I the process.Performs other related duties

REQUERIDASExtensive knowledge & application of company safety
policies & applicable OSHA standards.Keep up to date with current
and industry trends through classes, webinars and ADM website.Work
collaboratively in a team environment cross-functionally to engage
resources and employees in establishing a safety culture.Develops
positive working relationships with all employees.Excellent
written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.Advanced
computer knowledge and skills.QUALITY CONTROL
