Summary of Position:
Collaborate with Title III leadership and the Director of Projects and Change Management to create a strategic project management and change management plan for the implementation of the Title III grant, Reducing Equity gaps by Democratizing Data (REDD). Lead the implementation of the Title III grant initiatives.

This is a hybrid eligible position that would allow for 2-3 days a week working from home after the training period.

This position is grant funded with an end date of 09/30/2028.
Essential Functions
1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required.
2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.
3. Student Success if the cornerstone of Western's culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success.
4. Lead the project management for the Title III grant - Supporting Action/Task May Include:

  • Determine timeline and key milestones for grant project
  • Assemble, coordinate, communicate with steering team
  • Assess current state, define future state, and document processes
  • Track and report progress of implementation 5. Lead the Change Management for the Title III grant - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
  • Assess and propose change management strategy and develop a model for change
  • Assemble change management team and prepare team members
  • Audit compliance with new systems and develop corrective action plans to resistance 6. Facilitate Professional Development - Supporting Action/Task May Include
  • Identify training requirements for key stakeholders including end-users of data and those involved in planning and budgeting
  • Collaborate with Title III leadership to create a comprehensive professional development plan that supports the Title III implementation
    Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (data analysis, research, or project management) with 3 yrs occupational experience OR
  • Education in related field combined with related occupational experience totaling 7 years OR
  • Related occupational experience totaling 7 yearsPreferred Qualifications:
  • Professional experience in project or change management

    Special Instructions/About Western
    This position reports to: Director of Institutional Research

    Starting annual/hourly salary range based on education and experience: $58,325 - $75,822

    This is a hybrid eligible position that would allow for 2-3 days a week working from home after the training period.

    This position is grant funded with an end date of 09/30/2028.
