Job Description:

Manager adds value to BAPI and Production Team through planning,
directing, or coordinating the work activities and resources
necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost,

more.Production Manager Principle Responsibilities:Oversee daily
operations of Production, including active management of production
flows, resource planning, process controls, training, etc.
- Provide exceptional leadership, communicate clear expectations
and create an atmosphere of accountability and collaboration
- Follow annual operating budget for business unit
- Provide day to day direction & direct supervision of Production
Team
- Promote employee health & safety standards as required by law &
company policies in all production processes and activities
- Ensure compliance with all quality and regulatory
requirements
- Assist with and oversee recruitment, training programs and
engagement of Production TeamLead strategic improvement initiatives
and projects to support continuous improvement of BAPI's
manufacturing processes
- Evaluate and review operations with production team,
engineering and other teams to assess, develop and implements
initiatives
- Assure the achievement of quality standards are being
maintained
- Identifies cost reduction initiatives and implement with
approval
- Utilizes problem solving techniques, process control and
continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the key
performance indicators
- Assure employee suggestion or involvement programs are in place
and activeCollaborates in the development and implementation of
manufacturing processes to assure Production staff can build
efficiently and proper flow is established
- Sets and achieves manufacturing goals and tracks improvement
over time
- Maintains Staffing budget
- In coordination with Manufacturing Engineering, ensures
manufacturing performance and quality goals are met based on key
performance indicators (i.e. quality, on-time delivery, attendance
and efficiency)Partner with Leadership Team
- Collaborate in developing Company Goals and Culture; align with
Company Mission, Vision and Values
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect
continual improvements
- Assures consistent application of policies, rules, and
guidelines
- Works with diverse stakeholders and builds strong,
collaborative relationships. Collaborates with leaders with
competing agendas and priorities across different functional
departments to achieve the common goalMaintains industry knowledge
by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related
publications; establishing networks. Contributes to team effort by
accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects

(R/Required, P/Preferred):
- (P) Bachelor's Degree Degrees Preferred: Industrial or Mfg
Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field
Production Manager Training, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Specific Training in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):
- (P) ISO 9001
- (P) Six Sigma and/or LeanExperience/Knowledge in this field
(R/Required, P/Preferred):
- (R) 5 Years Manufacturing experience, (P) Light Assembly
electronics manufacturing experience
- (R) 2 years Leadership experience, (P) 5 years leadership
experience
- (P) Familiar with general electronics assembly concepts,
practices, and procedures
- (P) Introducing new product introductions and implementing new
procedures/processesGeneral Experiences/Knowledge/Skills:
- Financial Understanding
