Job Description:
CTG is seeking an experienced Epic Program Manager/Director to
lead the Pre-Implementation Engagement team for a client in the
Mid-West!
Project Duration: 4 months
Project Location Remote (client is located in Wisconsin) but may
require travel for key milestones
Job Title: Program Manager - Epic Pre-Implementation
Description: Full-time contract
Job Summary:
--- Planning the project schedule and milestones during the
planning phase of the project
--- Managing stakeholders, team members, and client contacts
throughout the project to ensure smooth operation
--- Acting as the main point of contact for all issues related to
the project
--- Ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget,
and meets quality standards
--- Must have previous experience leading several Epic
Implementations
--- A plus to have experience with mergers and acquisitions
--- Must have advisory skills and previous experience with Epic
pre-implementation planning and support all related activities
--- Ability to provide strategic guidance and planning support of
the future state
--- Collaborate with two separate leadership teams from health
systems merging together to one Epic instance
--- Skilled experience in leading the following areas:
o Unified governance structure, core set of guiding principles,
steering Committee planning
o In-depth analysis and scoping of the merged facility
organizational structure and all service areas
o Crosswalks of major Operational, Clinical and Revenue Cycle
workflows (as time permits) in preparation for subsequent
enterprise-wide validation and adoption of those that most
exemplify best in class practices
o Analysis of ancillary apps, medical devices, & integration
needs
o Workstream definitions and resource planning
o Communication and Change Management strategy/plan
o Review plan for Data and Analytics (DnA), as appropriate
o Program plan and roadmap
o Executive presentation(s)
--- Ability and experience to incorporate client goal of achieving
HIMSS Stage 7 and Epic Gold Star Level 10 status in 2024
--- Able to function independently within technical and
organizational area (s) of specialization
--- Provides support and guidance to all levels of functional
management throughout organization, acting in the capacity of
functional, business or information consultant
--- Solves complex technical or organizational problems utilizing
knowledge in area (s) of specialization
--- Instructs and mentors others in the organization within area
(s) of specialization
Requirements:
--- Several previous Epic Implementation Program Director Roles
--- Strong program management skills
--- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Program Manager/Director
facilitating Epic implementations/Refuel/ optimizations within a
large complex organizations
--- Excellent communication skills
--- Excellent written skills
--- Ability to interact with leaders within all levels of the
organization.
--- Preferable experience achieving HIMSS Stage 7 and Epic Gold
Star Level 10
--- Additional experience:
o Communications/Change Management
o Inpatient
o Ambulatory
o Rev Cycle
o Device Integration
o 3rd Party Ancillary Applications
