In 2003, GoMacro co-founder Amelia Kirchoff was diagnosed with
breast cancer. After a lot of research, she decided to fight the
cancer with a plant-based macrobiotic diet in addition to a local
lumpectomy. In the face of adversity, Amelia and her daughter Jola
came together, fought the cancer, and Amelia won.
During her battle with cancer, Amelia created the first MacroBar---
recipe in her kitchen on the Wisconsin family farm. In the years
following, Amelia and Jola began spreading awareness for the power

Position Description:
The Operations Project Manager works within our Project Management
Office to plan, direct, monitor, and coordinate project activities
to ensure that goals or objectives of manufacturing/operations
projects are accomplished within time, budget and schedule
commitments. This position ensures proper project management tools,
standards and procedures are used. This position also ensures
proper and timely communication flow and cross-functional alignment
for projects. This position works with limited supervision and has
substantial impact on the success of assigned projects which
results in business growth and/or profitability. The ideal
candidate possesses a bias for action and is comfortable working
through challenges and offering cost/benefit analysis for
solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Management
Establish project schedules and staffing requirements for assigned
projects. Has overall responsibility for planning and coordinating
activities related to assigned projects and/or program.
Facilitate project meetings with diverse stakeholders
Manage several assigned projects concurrently
Monitor project status against scope, end date and budget, ensuring
the quality and integrity of the project delivery, and anticipate
potential issues and risks
Escalate project issues to ensure projects are delivered on time
and on budget
Ensure appropriate risk mitigation steps are taken and
documented
Coordinate and respond to requests for change in project
objectives.
Communicate and align with department leaders and stakeholders on
project plans, status, change requests, issues and risks
Maintain scope change recognizing issues and risks and/or requests
from key stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
Follows standards and procedures for project reporting and
documentation. Identify project management process improvement
opportunities, incorporating lessons learned into future
projects.
Facilitates creative approaches to problem solving and supporting
business needs
.
Requirements:
Skills Required:
3+ years of Project Management experience
2+ years of experience leading and directing projects in a
manufacturing setting
2+ years of experience creating reports and dashboards to
communicate project status
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is preferred
Microsoft Project experience preferred
Manufacturing Engineer training a plus
Position-Specific Skills Required
Experience coordinating cross-functional team's activities
Strong communication, collaboration, integrity, decision making,
and problem-solving skills
High degree of proficiency in PM software, Microsoft Office
applications and presentations
Basic understanding of manufacturing principles
Education/Training Required
BA/BS degree required in related field.
Travel Required
Travel will be required based on business need.
