A unique and fulfilling work experience comes with every position within the Reyes Family of Businesses - where there's always an opportunity to grow and develop in a family-owned environment grounded in values and ethics.Position Summary:The HRIS Manager is an integral part of HR Service Center team and a key internal partner in both the day-to-day and long-term operation of the Human Resource system(s) for which he/she is responsible. The HRIS Manager has responsibility for overall system operation, security, maintenance, interfaces, and oversight. In addition, this position will represent HR in all matters related to the system's role in supporting the enterprise infrastructure. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of system services to users throughout the organization. The HRIS Manager oversees the activities of a team dedicated to the system operation.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the successful implementations, maintenance, operation, and optimization of the UKG Pro system and interfaces.
    • Provide direct management of the activities and performance of the application team. Monitor performance of team members, identifying areas of opportunity, offering feedback and coaching in areas that require it and ensuring that excellent performance is acknowledged. Develop training plans to ensure appropriate cross-training and back-up within the team.
    • Identify opportunities for application operational efficiency and security.
    • Efficiently allocate incoming development requests, prioritizing projects in conjunction with the HRIS Director and monitoring and directing team resources so that customer timelines are met.
      • Conduct and participate in the analysis and design of new functionality and/or improvements to the system, ensuring that system requirements are fully identified, evaluated, tested, and implemented.
      • Lead key activities to deliver approved upgrades, new functionality or improvements to the system and tools. This includes documentation of process workflows; security model updates to ensure data protection; and development of reports, internal operating procedures and end user training materials.
      • Ensure effective knowledge transfer of new functionality and system improvements to ensure sound initial implementation and ongoing system performance and support, collaborating with internal teams as applicable. Ensure Business Units liaisons are sufficiently trained to in turn provide training sessions to their respective end-users.
      • Identify and report on general and critical issues, including risk assessment and resolution alternatives. Collaborate with Management and Business Partners in reaching consensus on prescribed solutions.
      • Partner with the IT Department to ensure optimal operation of infrastructure and system technology and communicate with system vendor to establish expectations and resolve issues.
      • In collaboration with management and other internal groups, create annual objectives for system management and improvement, delivering credible plans for development work on system configuration including integrations, interfaces, standardization and automation opportunities; end user skill sets; and optimization of the application
      • As needed based on team workload and resources, provide system support including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements; and providing escalation assistance for Support Team tickets.
      • Other projects or duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience:
        • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT, Mathematics, Management, Business, or related field and 6+ years of experience leading technical teams along with managing enterprise systems, process, and structured application development, OR High School diploma AND 9+ years of the above stated experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
        • Must be analytical and detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
        • Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings and communicate complex concepts.
        • Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
        • Strong customer service orientation, sense of urgency in getting things done, and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
        • Ability to handle confidential material and details.
        • Strong critical thinking with the ability to review numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions and solution creation based on findings.
        • Flexibility to adapt in a complex and fast-paced environment.
        • Ability to work remotely, travel only as necessary.
        • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.Preferred Skills and Experience:
          • Previous IT system administration/infrastructure experience, in roles of increasing responsibility
          • Knowledge of HR Systems, processes and terminology is beneficial
          • Proficiency with leading experienced technical teams
