Position SummaryPerforms various Deposit and Digital Banking Services as needed by internal and external customer. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to: balancing and account questions for customer needs, understanding of core systems, ability to work ACH, assist with completing wire transfers, and monitoring/balancing of the general ledger. This position will work in a team environment and requires a high degree of interaction with fellow associates. Excellent customer skills and the motivation to succeed on a professional level are required. Understand and complete job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state compliance regulations, bank policy and procedures. The work is confidential and may be complex, therefore, attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple job tasks and meet deadlines is necessary.Essential Job FunctionsCustomer Service Calls & Emails-Internal and ExternalAbility to assist customer requests with proper customer service including but not limited to:Account balancesHistory of transactionsAccount maintenanceInitiating disputesPIN resetsHandle bank mailingsAssists with Debit Card itemsDigital Banking ItemsWork with customers to ensure solutions to any digital banking itemsOnline BankingMobile BankingWork to ensure that items are processed and cleared from exceptions in a timely mannerBill PaymentWiresEnsure wires are processed timely as to not cause delay with our customersWork any exceptionsFollow approval limits and proper approval channels as neededBalancingProcess and balance at the end of the dayMonthly ReconciliationCash LetterAccount MaintenanceComplete account maintenance as necessaryVerify account maintenance was completed with the proper documentation to make the change.Audits reports and compliance regulations including but not limited to Regulation CC, D, DD, E, Privacy, BSA and NACHA rules.Process as requested:Tax leviesSubpoenasCharge OffsChex SystemsCredit Bureau Data8. Other job related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position along with assisting other departments as requested.Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Assists with installation, testing and training of bank-specific software; performs updates and maintenance as needed. Completes all training as required to enhance job skills and maintain compliance standards.Assists Manager as requested in order to maintain department standards, completion of daily work and special projects. Assists with audits and exams as requested.Aid in the testing and origination of job aides and training of internal staff as needed.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance preferred.One to three years previous banking and customer service-related experience required.Must have the technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information.The ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and Bank information.Effective time management skills as well as the ability to deal effectively with time pressures.Equipment UsedOperates personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet/intranet, and other bank specific software. Utilizes a variety of office equipment including, but not limited to; computer printer, ten-key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, scanner, and multi-line telephone.Working ConditionsWork is performed largely in an office environment, during normal business hours. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical compliance information is required.
